In this role, Sargeant oversees ChannelAdvisor’s worldwide marketing initiatives, including corporate and product branding, demand generation, public relations and event management.

Sargeant brings more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience to the CMO position. Prior to joining ChannelAdvisor, she served as vice president of marketing for Avalara, a leading tax compliance automation firm. Before Avalara, she was senior director of product marketing at CA Technologies. She received a bachelor’s degree in political science and U.S. history from Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia.
